After several slow years, the industry is finally humming.  Molds are travelling down the street frequently now.  Shops are working overtime. Local companies report great success at PLAST-EX.  CAMM's annual golf day was sold out for the first time in years.  Cornerstone raffled off an Android tablet to a lucky golfer, as well as other prizes.
 
Cornerstone is busy as well with a variety of projects.  This week we unveil a major upgrade to our website.  Watch for more news in the coming weeks.

Today we officially launch www.virtualmold.com, with tons of information about XMD-S and our company.  Expect to find useful information on benefits and uses of XMD-S, our company services, as videos, and over time helpful material for all mold designers.  We also added a blog where you can expect regular updates.

It’s common in manufacturing custom mold bases that steel mold plates deviate from designed thickness by slight amounts. Which means your pins must also be adapted to match. This can involve a lot of error-prone manual calculation. Or… you can just use the automated pin charts that XMD-S generates for you!
